For many years, we have warmly welcomed the Upper West side community to savor in the delight of Indian cuisine from the motherland. At Baazi, you can encounter all walks of life clinking their glasses, sharing dishes & stories, and reveling in the joy of sharing a nostalgic culinary experience.
The meaning of Baazi is to “bet”, and we thank you for betting on Baazi every time you choose to dine with us. In return, our promise is to always bet on you by pushing the bar and elevating our craft to give you 110% every single time.
In that breath, we proudly introduce Ek aur Baazi, also known as, “one more shot,” a refreshing new take on our beloved establishment. We feel alive, reignited and ready to bring you a redesigned restaurant, filled with atmospheric tunes that will leave your hearts and bellies feeling mesmerized.
We unveil a new and improved menu featuring Baazi classics with a dash of modern flare. Beyond the crowded dining room, nestled in our humble kitchen, we house one of the largest South Asian spice markets in New York City. The secret lies in our care and attention to preparation, as our chefs blend ingredients, flavors, texture, and aromatics to create the extraordinary.
Our desire to honor forgotten recipe manuscripts while balancing technique is the backbone of our dining culture. Our Chefs, staff, and managers come from the deserts of Morocco, the seas of Goa, and the old streets of Delhi. No matter the region, language or religion, we are a family and one thing is for sure; we will ALWAYS bet on each other time and time again. We don’t give up.
